This short film records an eight-day hike along the Appalachian Trail through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The hikers hailed from China. All were experiencing the American outdoors for the first time.

The Appalachian Trail Conservancy says that no one from China has ever reported thru-hiking the AT. If anyone knows of any Chinese who have hiked the Great Smokies section, please tell us about them!
